If you allow me to suggest a few changes to embelish the song and make it closer to the original:
In the chorus, right after they sing " ...your love away" instead of going directly to D,
they do this little progression: D4 D Dsus2 D
Very simple, easy to do and gives a nice sound
D4 = 3320XX
D = 2320XX
Dsus2 = 0320XX
Also, in the end of the first verse, just before going to the chorus, after you make the D, you could add
the progression D D/C D/B D/A and resolving in the G that starts the chorus
