I remember way back when the Lord come up on the resurrection morn
All the graves were open and the saints begin to rise
There's a promise for today
That the dead in Christ will gonna come up first
And together we'll take a mansion in the sky

Chorus:
I will rise, for my everlasting prize,
There’s a resurrection promise in my eyes;
At the dawn I believe that I'll be good as gone,
And it’ll come as no surprise, I know that I will rise.

Verse 2:
There are scoffers all around to say that everything's just the same
And the promise they will laugh and criticize
But one day they'll see that gravity is gonna lose it's hold on me
They don't realize everything in Christ will rise
