Our City's Finest
A call comes in to 911, we know they will respond,
The operator takes the call and passes the info on.
Depending on the type of call will determine who must go,
But no matter the emergency they've committed to help us so.
They are the City's Finest, their trained to help us all.
They never know what they'll see when they respond to the call.
An accident, a shooting or a fire out of control,
But they all try to keep us safe when they're out on patrol.
Someone's having a heart attack, paramedics are on their way,
They check his vitals, get him stabilized, it's just another day.
Another call to 911, someone just been shot,
The police rush to the scene not knowing what they've got.
The third part of this group are our local firemen,
When people are rushing from a burning building they are going in.
So let's give thanks to all of them for responding to our calls,
They represent mankind's finest, they've committed to serve us all.
They are the City's Finest, their trained to help us all.
They never know what they'll see when they respond to the call.
An accident, a shooting or a fire out of control,
But they all try to keep us safe when they're out on patrol.
