Some people call me a Redneck because of the songs I sing, 
Some even call me Hi-tech because of the tablet I bring.
I've even been called a Hi-tech Redneck but I'm just a good old boy.
I like singing and playing guitar and country music is my joy.

I'm just a Hi-tech Redneck, my friend told me so,
I guess that will stick with me no matter where I go.
I'm am just a good old boy with a simple philosophy.
I like good old country music, that's where I want to be.

I don't play on the big stage like famous people do. 
I don't even play the dance halls for folks just like you.
I only play for my friends or simple gatherings,
But no matter where I play it has always been for free.
