Portapique Masacer 

There's a town in Nova Scotia they call Portapique.
One day in April of 2020, a man went bizerk.
Setting fire to homes and shooting people on site,
Before it was over more than 20 lost their life’s.

People of Portapique and the town’s around there,
We want you to know you are in our prayers.
I can't begin to imagine what you're all going thru,
Hold on to thoughts of love, may God Bless you.

Now we have communities in a state of shock.
Nothing good can come from this but I am glad the man was shot.
To all the grieving families that are left behind,
We hope our prayers will show a better side of mankind.

People of Portapique and the town’s around there,

The communities are strong and with time will get thru.
But many of the families will have to start their lives a new.
Counseling and therapy may help them understand,
That Nova Scotia is are here to give a helping hand.
