After finish: note that the songs says to "stop rambling, stop gambling, stop staying out late at night."  This song was written by Hudie Ledbetter, better known as Leadbelly, and he was pretty much your ultimate rambling, gambling, stay out late fellow - in prison several times, but was sometimes able to sing his way out (I.e. sang for governor, governor pardoned him)
