ANALYTICS CONSENT

Important: This consent is optional. You can use the "Guitar Songs" app without providing this consent. Declining analytics does not limit the app's functionality.

What is Analytics and Why Do We Need It?

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous statistics about app usage. This helps us:

• Understand which app features are most popular
• Identify problems in the app's operation
• Improve the user interface
• Develop new features that users need
• Optimize app performance

What Data is Collected?

• Information about app feature usage (which screens you open, which buttons you press)
• Song view statistics (which songs are most popular)
• Application usage time
• Device technical characteristics (model, Android version, etc.)
• Anonymous app installation identifier (used exclusively for analytics purposes)
• Country and region (based on IP address)

Important: Analytics does NOT collect your personal data, such as name, email, or the contents of your playlists. All data is processed anonymously. The Analytics identifier is separate and independent from Crashlytics and synchronization identifiers - it is used only for Firebase Analytics and is not shared with our servers or other services.

Who Processes Analytics Data?

Analytics data is processed by Google LLC / Google Ireland Limited through the Firebase Analytics service for analyzing app usage.

Google processes data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

Data transfer outside the EU: Google complies with EU Standard Contractual Clauses for data transfer to third countries.

Data Retention Period

Firebase Analytics data is stored according to Google's policy for up to 14 months from the date of collection.

Legal Basis for Processing

Processing of Firebase Analytics data is based on your voluntary consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You can withdraw this consent at any time without any negative consequences for using the app.

Your Rights

What You Can Do Yourself:

• Decline analytics - when first launching the app, do not provide consent for analytics use
• Withdraw consent at any time - go to Settings → Information → Legal in the Application and tap "Opt-out" next to the Analytics consent. After withdrawing consent, new data will not be collected.

Data Processing by Google

Important to understand: Firebase Analytics data is processed and stored by Google on their servers. The app operator does not have access to individual data of specific users and only sees aggregated statistics.

Automatic deletion: Google automatically deletes Firebase Analytics data after 14 months from the date of collection. This happens automatically without the need for requests.

Requests for data access or deletion: If you want to access your data or request its immediate deletion before the 14-month period expires, you can:

• Contact Google directly through their data request form
• Write to us at guitarsongs.club@gmail.com - we will help forward the request to Google, but technically cannot fulfill it ourselves

Recommendation: The easiest way to stop data collection is to withdraw consent in Settings → Information → Legal. Previously collected data will be automatically deleted by Google after 14 months.

Managing Analytics Consent

How to provide consent:

1. When you first launch the "Guitar Songs" app, you will be asked to review and consent to various data processing policies
2. You can choose to accept or decline the Analytics consent
3. Your choice will be saved and Analytics will only operate if you provide consent

How to withdraw consent (opt-out):

1. Open the "Guitar Songs" app
2. Go to Settings → Information → Legal
3. Find the Analytics consent in the list
4. Tap the "Opt-out" button next to it

After withdrawing consent, Firebase Analytics will immediately stop collecting data. Previously collected data will be deleted according to Google's retention policy (14 months).

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Firebase Analytics uses cookie-like technologies for:

• Storing an anonymous installation identifier
• Tracking app usage sessions
• Analyzing user behavior

This data is stored locally on your device and transmitted to Firebase only if analytics is enabled.
